Flex-straps allow micro-adjustments of the trombone while performing:

Custom Bending:

First Bend

The first bend allows the saddle to address the bell receiver pipe completely flush. This makes a more stable resting surface for the trombone. It increases the smoothness of lateral and slope adjustments.

Second Bend

The second bend directs the stand towards the center of the chair seat - - away from the left thigh.

Third Bend

The third bend redirects the stand directly down to the chair seat relative to the second bend.

Fourth Bend

The fourth bend extends the stand away from the torso of the player.

Fifth Bend

The fifth bend redirects the stand directly down to the chair seat relative to the fourth bend.

Saddle Adjustment Screw

The saddle adjustment screw ensures a snug fit.
